Shakeology Peanut Butter & Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe

Best Shakeology Dessert Recipe

Shakeology Lava Cake

Yes, you heard me right… a warm, gooey, Shakeology peanut butter and chocolate lava cake!  This is the best recipe for a late night sweet tooth’er (like myself).  Loaded with over 25g of protein and 0g of regret and guilt!

This is very simple to make and only takes a few easy ingredients.  I’ve seen people post a similar recipe, however, their recipe seemed to be a lot more work.  Personally, I can’t even cook toast, so I knew I needed to find an easier way.  And thanks to a buddy of mine (Paul), I found a great way to make this amazing dessert faster and easier!

Make this masterpiece in less than a minute!

Drum roll, please…

Shakeology Peanut Butter & Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe:

I broke down every step and included photos to make it as easy as I could. You’ll see the photo and the direction typed under each photo.  Heck, if a guy like me can do this, anyone can!  Very simple, very quick, very good and healthy!

Start with your ingredients.  You will need 1-scoop or packet of Chocolate Shakeology, 1-spoonful of Peanut Butter, 1-serving of egg whites, 1-squirt of honey (optional for more sweetness) and just a few teaspoons of water.  You will also need a coffee mug, a spoon, a knife and a serving plate.

I begin by adding my few teaspoons of water into my coffee mug.  Not a lot.  Just enough to mix into a batter.  I add my water first so that my Shakeology doesn’t stick to the bottom of the mug as much when I serve it.

I add my packet/scoop of Chocolate Shakeology mix.

I add just a squirt of honey.  You can also use agave nectar if you have that.  Completely optional, just for extra sweetness!

I add one egg serving of egg whites.

I mix into a “cake batter” consistency.

Once mixed, I add a scoop of peanut butter and try my best to place it into the center of that batter.  That way when you serve it, most of the peanut butter goodness is inside the cake; much like a lava cake.

I microwave for 45 seconds.  If still too liquidy, microwave in 10 second intervals until done.  Don’t burn it…

I cut around the edge of the mix to help it come out of the mug easier when served.

I place a serving plate on top of the mug and flip it over, which you should feel the cake release from the mug and plop onto the plate.

Remove the mug SLOWLY to keep the cake in one piece.  Serve warm and enjoy!
