Since Lindsay and I are doing the Classic P90X3 Schedule, Total Synergistics is the first workout of the week.  You would think that the first workout would be easier, right?  Well, not in the case!  Total Synergistics was fairly intense, but definitely do-able.  Remember, in all the P90X3 workouts, there is a modifier you can follow if yo can keep up with the crew, which we had to do a few set toward the end when we were getting tired.  But like Tony says, “Do you best and forget the rest!”

P90X3 Total Synergistics focuses on the entire body; working the arms, the legs and definitely the core when you focus on using the proper form.  I have listed the moves below, which I’m sure some of them don’t make sense because Tony likes to use some goofy names for his moves, but you get the idea.  My favorite part of P90X3 Total Synergistics is how it focuses on your entire body, and does a great job balancing the routines through the workout.  For example, when you feel you can’t do another upper body move, Tony switches to the core.  And right when you feel like your core is going to explode, you’ve moved on to a leg routine!  P90X3 is literally pushing you to the limit, and right before you bonk, it’ll switch it up all over again!

You will do some pull-ups style moves during P90X3 Total Synergistics, so be prepared.  If you need to modify with the chin-up assistance or by using bands, you will be able to see this done by Tony’s crew.

  • Athletic Shoes
  • Yoga Mat *optional
